Trade Mark Pirates
African Healer's good name is being attacked by trademark pirates, please help us to defend the good name of African Healers & African Healers Association.
Donations for the war chest and legal fees to fight this thing would be most welcome.
In May of 2009 a shelf cc (Biz Afrika 581 CC) applied to have the use of this name for use on hair products.
See the link (pdf download 1 and pdf download 2) They applied after the African Healers CC was formed, in fact nearly a year later, they applied in 01-May-2009 to trademark the good name of African Healers apparently for a hair product!

Not for some greedy makeup manufacturor to hijack the future..
Once we have taken this through to the non-profit status, the name of African Healers will have to be protected from all pirates to only be used by people who have a history of looking after the needs of others for generations to come.
